This practice of retroactively cancelling active health insurance policies for very specious reasons when a large claim, unrelated to any pre-existing conditions, is presented, is tantamount to the mental and emotional rape of the policy holder and victim.

The underwriter and insurance representatives responsible for this action should be convicted in a criminal court for non corporeal rape. This crime would be a felony, punishable by prison time and/or fines.
