Dr. Tim Langley has been invited to participate in the National Youth Leadership Forum for Medicine at Emory University in Atlanta, GA for the 7th consecutive year. Dr. Langley is family chiropractor in Marietta, GA and a graduate of Life University. “I always enjoy sharing the message of Principled Chiropractic with these future health care professionals. Some have chosen to become chiropractors. Some have gone on to practice Medicine but with a greater understanding of both chiropractic and the body’s design for health and performance.”

The National Youth Leadership Forum is a non-profit organization that conducts programs on the campus of Emory University for high-achieving high school juniors and seniors interested in a career involved in medicine.

NYLF/MED is an extraordinary 10-day program offering an intense and stimulating exploration of the field of medicine. Held each summer at renowned medical centers in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston-Galveston, Los Angeles, Phoenix-Tucson, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington, D.C., it is the nation’s foremost program in pre-medical education for high school students. First held in 1993, this year approximately 8,200 students will attend 22 NYLF/MED programs.

During various small group seminar sessions, NYLF/MED participants explore some of today’s leading medical issues and gain insights into the medical field and different medical professions as it is today and as it promises to be in the future.. In small groups, students meet with physicians and other professionals to discuss subjects such as “life as a resident,” “a personal perspective of patient care” and various medical specialties.
